Frequently asked questions

1

What does the FOTSI measure?

The relative strength of each of the 8 major currencies, computed with the True Strength Index across 28 pairs. Unlike the MRS or FSI it does not give a single number — it ranks the currencies strongest to weakest.

2

How do I read it?

Each currency has a bar that diverges from the zero line: right if strong, left if weak. ±50 marks extreme zones and a zero-line cross signals a momentum shift. The suggested pair puts the strongest against the weakest.

3

How often does the ranking change?

The FOTSI works on a daily timeframe (D1), so the ranking evolves day to day, not every minute. That is why the leader’s history is shown over 30 days.

4

What is the suggested pair for?

It is the tradable pair between the strongest and weakest currency, with the direction that favors the strong one. A starting point for analysis, not an entry signal.

5

Is it a trading recommendation?

No. It is an informational and educational tool about relative currency strength, not a signal or financial advice.
